The Liminal Space: Where Founders Transform to Reach Their Next Level

October 27, 20253 min read

Everything I built disappeared overnight.

You ever thought you had everything right only to be redirected in what feels like the most devastating way?

I thought I finally had it together. New moodboard, offer mix and launch strategy ready to go. Then BOOM, everything went dark. Literally.

Instagram wrongly permanently disables account

My business page disappeared overnight. One minute I was hitting my follower goal (it was 55, lol) and celebrating new momentum (one of my faves had just followed back) and the next, it was gone.

And the funny thing is, I thought that moment was going to break me. But it was the first time I felt stillness in months. For two days I didn’t post, plan, or overthink. I honestly laughed when I saw the email. Then I just sat with myself and asked what am I really wanting to create, and how do I want to feel.

Before, I was producing content, hitting goals, but still caught in an unsustainable loop.

What looked like progress felt exhausting af. And when my page was "permanently disabled," as Meta put it, I realized they weren’t deleting my progress. They were deleting my distraction.

Relearning How to Build the Self-Aware Way

Sometimes the algorithm isn’t deleting your progress.
It’s deleting your distraction.

When the noise stopped, I finally had space to hear myself again. I started reflecting on how I wanted to do business, not just how to deliver my offers but how I want to show up as a founder and leader.

This time, with even more flow.

I found myself drawn to the idea of soft marketing strategy and something i'm calling strategic wellness. Both are sooooo me-coded: building visibility through transparency, education, and authentic self-expression while practicing self-awareness. It's where my life, it's systems, and my mindset is the "marketing" instead of trying to appeal to algorithms (where I end up looking the same and feeling burnt out just like everyone else.)

So, lately I've been focusing more how I can align my operations and brand with my wellbeing as a founder.

The Systems Weren’t Broken, They Just Weren’t Mine

The longer I operated from someone else’s vision and imagination, the more dysregulated I became.

Instead of designing my business around what performs well online, I wanted to design it around what really sustains me. My systems weren’t necessarily broken, they were just built for someone else. And the longer I operated from someone else’s vision and imagination, the more dysregulated I became.

Like, it shouldn’t take six hours to make one damn post.

So during my dark-mode era, I started imagining things: if I could design the perfect brand with the perfect business model and operational setup for me, what would that look like?

I asked questions like:

  • How much energy would this take from me?

  • Does this system actually make me feel supported?

  • What can I automate?

I started treating my business like an experiment, not some Instagram performance for external validation. Testing, refining, adjusting, and building personal and business systems that elevate with me, not ones that exhaust me.

Lol, between Pinterest, my journal, and a few good books, I came up with a little something-something.

And the rebuilding began.

So if you’re somewhere between exhaustion and expansion, the in-between space where everything feels unfamiliar and overwhelming, yet full of potential . . . then you’re in the right place :)

Welcome to the liminal space for ambitious girlies. This is where we do business different.
